Boingo was first founded in 2001. Their offices are located in Los Angeles, California. Today they employ around 400 people. They are a public company. Their head office has been wonderfully designed by the famous “Gensler”. Today they claim to have over one million hotspots located worldwide. Boingo is a registered trademark of Boingo Wireless Inc. In 2007 Boingo purchased a company named Concourse Communications Group. In 2011 the company was listed as public. In 2012 they acquired Cloud Nine Media, the following year in 2013, Boingo acquired a business named Endeka Group. Later that same year they bought their biggest rival, Advanced Wireless Group.They are a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating. The company was first founded by Sky Dayton, he is also the co-founder of a company called Earthlink. David Hagan is the current CEO. In 2013 the company posted a revenue figure of just under twenty million dollars.
