Helzberg Diamonds' History
Helzberg Diamonds is an United States based jewelry retailer that specializes in the sale of customized jewelry, engagement rings, high-quality diamonds, gold and silver. The first store opened in 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri by Morris Helzberg and his sons. Within a few years of opening, the store became very successful and by the 1920s, Helzberg Diamonds started expanding to larger spaces and more locations all over Missouri. Despite the economic hard times that followed the Great Depression, Helzberg Diamonds managed to flourish and become the largest jewelry retailer in the Midwest. This store was specifically targeted towards Missouri elite. From then onwards, Helzberg Diamonds rapidly expanded and by 2001 there was over 200 stores across all 50 states making it the largest jewelry retailer in America.
