Established in 1963, two competitive sailboat professionals Robert Halperin and Richard Steams came up with the name Land’s End for their company and started business providing clothing to racing sailors. The company specializes in selling casual clothing, footwear, interior furnishings, and luggage to international clients. It was turned into a public company in 2014.
