Founded in 2012 as a joint venture between Technicolor and DreamWorks Animation, M-GO is a digital entertainment service allowing users to access television shows and movies and watch them on existing devices. The company has consistently worked towards introducing its services on video centric devices and newer models of televisions with the aim of providing users opportunity to view video content on different television sets and models. In 2013, the M-Go app was available for LG Smart TVs adding to the list of television sets already using the app including Blu-ray players, Vizio and Samsung sets. Members can also connect to an Ultraviolet account to watch movies released under the format. The company uses Microsoft PlayReady to deliver content over the Internet.
