Restoration Hardware's History
Restoration Hardware is a home furnishings company that was founded in 1980 by Stephen Gordon in Old Town Eureka, CA. When it went public in 1998 there were 47 total stores.
In 2008, Restoration Hardware launched it's Baby & Child Line, and in 2012 the company shortened it's business name to RH to reflect Restoration Hardware Holdings, Inc.'s New York Stock Exchange symbol. That same year they created a Small Spaces line and in 2014 the company opened a 70,000 square foot store in Atlanta that featured a 50 foot pool.
