Sephora teamed up with Benefit, Pat McGrath, Urban Decay, Tarte, Violet Voss and Natasha Denona to launch exclusive products. Will you be buying these? https://digiday.com/marketing/sephora-capitalizing-limited-edition-commissioning-exclusive-products-brands/
Michael Quoc This is becoming a pretty big trend these days among all types of brands - creating mini-incubators to work with startups and small businesses. I think this will become very commonplace in a few years, and will be a great way for new startups to gain traction in partnership with larger brands in their verticals.
I don't know anyone who has used either brand, so I'm interested to hear your thoughts.
Melissa D. Gordon I've heard KKW is not worth the price. Apparently, Kim is just using her status to sell a drugstore product at the price of a high-end department store. I can't speak for myself though because I have never tried it. I want to try Kylie's lipkits though. I hear they are amazing and worth every penny. I haven't heard anything about Fenty.
Do you think this is a good way to discover new products? I've heard rave reviews about LoveGoodly and Care/Of, but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
