I have no responses on campaigns I applied for months ago.
Ian Mason Interesting.. You'd think brands would understand that influencers are people, and even though there is money involved, this is still about relationships. I have been trying to add at least a small personal message to any influencers I invite (we just started our first deal). With that said, they may just be ignoring you due to low influencer score, which I'm sure will be going up over time. I think microinfluencers are really important and you have a cool channel. I'll be in touch soon btw
Zachary Greenwell The influencer score isn't reality though. My twitter feed gets retweeted and over 440k people have seen individual posts because of it. And this score doesnt take into account my Flipboard which some magazines have over 14k followers on.
Jimmy Doheny Thanks for the feedback, Zachary. We encourage brands to respond to all influencers so that you can hear a decision either way. Most brands receive over 50 applications within the first week (and even more from there), so it can be tough for them to personally respond to every application. We've been working on tools to improve this process and make it simpler to hear a response either way, and your feedback is a huge help. For rejections, the majority of the time the brand is looking for a very specific influencer and can have a limited budget. This unfortunately means many influencers who apply may not get accepted, even if they are a good fit. Please feel free to share any other feedback or improvement ideas, we're all ears!
