Kmart Does Not Have An Official Coupon Policy Online
However, that doesn’t mean you cannot use coupons at Kmart. Fortunately, a lot of othercouponbloggers have done some digging, and over the years, have pieced together the main rules of couponing for Kmart. Here’s what you need to know about Kmart couponing:
Kmart will not stack coupons. You can print out Kmart coupons from Kmart’s coupon center, and print out manufacturer coupons to use as long as they have a scannable bar code, but you cannot combine them.
Kmart will double manufacturer coupons up to one dollar in value on their double coupon event dates. Double coupon events will not apply to Kmart coupons or buy one, get one offers. During double coupon events, you can double up to five coupons per household or customer. Anything beyond that will be rung up at face value. A ShopYourWay membership is required for doubling coupons. You also need to purchase a minimum of twenty-five dollars in groceries, drug, and household products in order to double coupons.
Kmart will not accept coupons for more than seventy-five percent of an item’s value. Kmart will not accept coupons where you can get an item for free, either.
Sales and enforcement of the coupon policy will vary from store to store. Call ahead to your local store to verify any questions and clear up any discrepancies before you go shopping.

Have your eye on an item, but don’t have all the money yet? Kmart’s Layaway Program allows you to pay for what you want in installments, plus a service fee dependent on the length of the contract. Once you have completed all the payments, you can then pick up the items you paid for from a Kmart store. Your layaway contract can be cancelled at any time, and your money, minus the service and contract fee, will be refunded to you. This is a simple, and cost-effective way to pay for an item that might be too expensive for your budget to purchase outright.
Use Your Sears Credit Card & ShopYourWay Membership At Kmart
If you have a Sears store credit card or Mastercard, you can use it at any Kmart store, since it is a Sears Holding company. When you use your Sears credit card at Kmart, you can also earn extra points for the ShopYourWay membership program. ShopYourWay gives Kmart shoppers access to exclusive coupons, savings, and deals at all Sears Holding stores, and trade in the points for gift certificates.
