  • Home Depot has many places where you can save money via their website. Here is a short, incomplete list:

    • Savings Center - where all the main deals are.

    • Rebate Finder - where all the rebate deals are. You can save hundreds of dollars on appliances. Just make sure you fill out all the paperwork, send it in, and track it.

    • Special Buy Of The Day - Save up to fifty percent on daily deals.

    • Overstock Event - Save up to forty-four percent on overstock such as appliances and hardware.

    • HomeDepotOpinion - Check your receipt, which will include a user ID and password you can enter to complete a customer satisfaction survey online. Tell Home Depot about your shopping experience, and you will be entered into a monthly drawing to win a $5,000 gift card.

  • Home Depot offers free workshops and product demonstrations for aspiring do-it-yourselfers. There is no obligation to buy, and you can often sign your kids up to learn things like how to build a birdhouse. Check your local Home Depot for the topics and schedule.

  • Download Home Depot’s mobile apps to manage your home improvement projects. In addition to buying products via the app, you can calculate and convert your inventory as needed, and watch how-to videos to learn how to use the tools you will need.

  • Sign up for Home Depot email and text offers, and get a coupon for five dollars off your next purchase of fifty dollars or more.

  • Home Depot has a new price match guarantee, in which Home Depot will match the price of a qualifying advertiser, and beat it by ten percent. Check the fine print for exclusions, as this deal doesn’t apply to every product.

  • If you are ordering online, and want to avoid shipping charges, many items can be shipped to the local store for free and picked up in the store. Check to see if your item is eligible first before ordering, though.

  • If you need certain tools for one-time use, and don’t want to fill up your garage with clutter, check out Home Depot’s tool rental program. You can rent tools and trucks by the hour, and often there are deals.
