At Dealspotr, our goal is to make deal hunting easier than ever by making it quick and painless to find that working promo code or coupon, when you need it. To make this happen, we’re partnering with you, our community of deal savvy shoppers - by providing you the tools you need to effectively share deals and by making it rewarding for you to do so.
Today, we’re excited to take a big step forward in that goal by launching our brand new deal posting tool. We’ve conducted countless hours of research interviews and spent many days and nights in planning sessions, and we are confident we’ve come up with something truly exciting and innovative.
With so many types and variants of deals out there, it was a challenge to create a deal posting tool that would work across the spectrum of deals, promo codes, and coupons. We had two primary design goals:
Provide a guided, step-by-step experience that would allow even deal novices to post virtually any type of deal, capturing all the essential information, and
Take in all the information you provide and present it in an easy to digest format for any shopper to find and redeem your deal
While our new tool is still very much a beta (there’s always room for improvement!), we think we’ve captured the essence of our goal. Now, when you click Post a Deal, you’ll see two primary options:
Product deals are those deals for single products, like a specific TV model or a specific Maui vacation package, where you can specify a final price which is better than what you can find elsewhere online. Site-wide deals and sales is for everything else: site-wide promo codes, free shipping deals, sales on specific categories or brands, and clearance and sale events. Each path will ask you to provide the necessary information to effectively present a deal to shoppers in such a way that they can easily find and redeem it.
