Top 10 Ways to Save Money at Forever 21 [INFOGRAPHIC]
Emily Helwig posted this article
As far as fast fashion retailers go, Forever 21 is one of the leaders in providing the trendy clothing and accessories for a low consumer price. As a younger store (born in 1986 in Los Angeles), Forever 21 has planted its roots as a destination for young shoppers looking for the latest fashion at discount store prices. They now have 4 fashion lines, and sell them in over 600 stores to frugal fashionistas around the world.
With prices already so low, it's rare to find major coupons or sales at Forever 21. But that doesn't mean that none exist - you just have to know where to find them. We asked our Dealspotr community & some pro coupon bloggers, and there are still ways you can maximize your savings at Forever 21. Now, we're sharing these savings hacks with you.
Sign up for their email newsletter
No one does emailing like Forever 21. While they do email often, it’s because they’re always offering new deals and promo code sales on products both in-store and online. It’s also a less annoying email subscription than most, with fun subject lines and flashy images in each email. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss out on all the latest deals.
Sign up for a Forever Rewarded card
If you're an avid Forever 21 shopper, signing up for the Forever Rewarded credit card is a good option for you. With every purchase you make on the card, whether you're at a Forever 21 store or not, you're earning points that can later be used on your Forever 21 purchases. You earn 3x points for Forever 21 purchases, 2x the points for any restaurant purchases, and 1x the points for anywhere else Visa is accepted. You'll also have access to exclusive deals and double points offers throughout the year.
Head into the store to shop
While Forever 21's site might be a bit easier to navigate than the physical store, it might pay to shop in person - especially if you're not buying much. Forever 21 does offer free shipping for online orders, but it's only for purchases over $50. With the cheap prices of their merchandise, this can sometimes be hard to reach.
Another reason to make the trek to the store is for return's sake. Forever21.com orders are refundable up to 30 days after the ship date, however only if you mail back the items. If you return them to the store, you can only get store credit. So if you're not sure of an item's fit, and aren't planning on spending over $50, heading into the store would probably be your best bet.
Stick to the basics
Forever 21 can be trendy, but beware of fads that are here today, gone tomorrow… literally. Basics like jeans, solid tank tops and plain cotton shirts stand the test of time, and will always be wardrobe staples. But, beware of low quality items. While these basics are cheap (there’s usually a section with $3 tank tops) you should make sure you’re buying something that won’t shrink or fade the first time you wash it.
Check The Outlet for steals
Forever 21 has a great sale section - we all know that. But even better than the sale section is The Outlet. With discounts up to 70% off, this section of the website offers men's and women's clothes that are majorly discounted. You'll be able to shop for basics here, along with shoes, purses, and other accessories.
Pro Tip: There are also a few physical locations of the Forever 21 Outlet. Check with your local outlet mall to see if there's one near you.
Link up on social media
Like many other retailers, Forever 21 will announce sales on their Facebook and Twitter pages - so following them is a must if you're looking for sales. Also on Facebook, they'll announce days when Forever Rewarded cardholders can enjoy exclusive sales and earn double points on their purchases. On their YouTube channel, you can get a behind the scenes look at new collections, and get beauty and fashion tips on Forever 21 products.
Get a Discount with Student Beans
If you live in the UK and are currently in high school or college, you can save even more at Forever 21 with Student Beans. This is a program meant to reward students with special discounts and offers to places like Domino’s and Groupon. Any Student Beans member can save 10% on any purchase at Forever 21. Unfortunately, this is only available in the UK right now. But it’s a good way to go for young fashionistas across the pond.
Use cash back apps for an added bonus
Along with many other retailers, you can find Forever 21 on most of your favorite cash back apps like Ebates and Checkout 51. Be sure to check for rebate deals on any of your purchases. Also, if you buy at the same time as a flash sale, promotion, or double Forever Rewarded points day, you'll save even more.
Search for Flash Sales online
While the main homepage of the site might not always lead you directly to the deals, there's a way to find any sale that's going on just by doing a quick search. Visiting the site organically, the homepage looks like this:
But searching for "Forever 21 flash sale" brings up a lot of results, for a lot of different countries. We clicked on the one for the US, which brought us here:
This page might only be accessible by people on the email list, or anyone who has the direct link to this sale. A great first stop on this secret sale search should be Dealspotr. The FLASH21 code in the above picture was added a month ago, along with various other deals for Forever 21, taking the hassle out of this search.

Buy discounted gift cards on Raise
When all else fails, the last hack to employ would be to buy a discounted gift card on Raise.com. Usually, cards are sold for around an 8% discount on average. But there have been higher cards on sale for Forever 21, with some even reaching a 15% discount, as you can see above. You can also consider buying a Forever 21 gift card for full price at a local grocery store or Target, and get rewarded at those individual stores for your purchase.
