When one thinks of Diane von Furstenberg, the most common words that come to mind are "runway dresses" and "fancy accessories." Thanks to Baby Gap, there's one more phrase we can add to that list: "awesome toddler clothes."
Known for vibrant colors and wild patterns, von Furstenberg's taken her inspiration for adult clothes and adjusted that to the tiny sizes of the next generation of fashionistas with The Limited Edition Explorer's Collection. The new line - which can be found in a limited number of Gap stores, or the Gap website - features many of Furstenberg signatures: zebras, flora, tigers, and exotic butterflies can be found on numerous pieces, all soaked in trademark Furstenberg flourescent colors. The Explorer's Collection includes typical summer wear like shorts and swimsuits, even mini-sizing some of her infamous wraparound dress designs and t-shirt dresses for infants and toddlers. Of course, it's not officially an outfit without accessories, and von Furstenberg doesn't disappoint here either. The collection includes sun hats, aviator glasses, and sandals to complement the vibrant, eye-grabbing designs.
One thing is clear: no matter what styles parents choose, their little girls will be running around in style in the beautiful sunshine this summer.
