Proenza Schouler design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are making headlines yet again with their surf inspired capsule collection for online retailer Net-a-Porter.  As one of the first retailers to carry Proenza Schouler, both McCollough and Hernandez wanted to do something special to honor their long time partnership with Net-a-Porter.  The nine-piece limited edition collection features items like a tweed pullover and a mini-skirt with a neon blue geometric print.

The designers clearly had the summer season on their minds when they started creating the line. Showcasing garments from a pair of perfectly made leather board shorts to a white washed silk-blend shirtdress, the items allow you to transition from day to evening. You can attend a fabulous beach party and go on to a fun night on the town.

Drawing inspiration from their past pre-spring runway looks, the designers’ stay true to their brands’ distinct qualities, producing designs that have a classic casualness to them, but are constructed so beautifully that they are undoubtedly luxury pieces.
