Here is the complete Q&A:

Q: How long have you been couponing?

A: I’ve been couponing for over seven years, and loving it!

Q: Why did you start couponing?

A: I started couponing because I knew it was a smart decision for my family to begin saving more money on items we use daily. In addition, I had an intense desire to contribute to my household as a stay at home mom. Extreme couponing was a no-brainer for me. After I received my first free item using coupons, I was captivated by the savings.

Q: How long have you had your blog?

A: My couponing blog is less than a year old, and I’m grateful it is expanding, insightful, and changing lives daily.

Q: What prompted you to get started with blogging?

A: Initially, I was conducting one-on-one couponing training for women in my local community. When I took a good look at how their lives also began to enhance, advance, and their families begin to save money by using coupons, it was necessary to expand my reach. This lead me to create my website/blog.

Q: What do you like most about couponing?

A: Couponing is one of the best ways that I can use my skills and contribute financially to the home by savings HUNDREDS of dollars per month, without taking loads of time away from my family.

Q: Where is your favorite place to shop with coupons?

A: Target has moved to the top of my list for places to shop with coupons. They offer cartwheel savings, target red card discounts, target printable coupons, target mobile coupons, target gift card promotions, and so much more. Saving money at Target is imminent when you use all the resources provided. My most enjoyable moments at Target include shopping for free items by stacking coupons and rolling gift cards.

Q: What advice would you give to couponing newbies?

A: My advice to couponing “newbies” is to LOVE couponing which is an acronym for “L” Learn the stores couponing policy and rules “O” Organize your coupons and plan a couponing shopping trip “V” Have a victorious attitude. “E” Execute the plan. Simplicity is key for those who are beginning couponers. In addition, I strongly suggest investing in a couponing training course which will help you catapult your couponing success while giving you easy to use, time saving tools and systems to immediately save your family money.

Q: What is the biggest challenge couponers face?

A: One of biggest challenges that many couponers face are the many misconceptions about extreme couponing, such as this idea that effort couldn’t be worth the value of money you save. I have to disagree, the effort is absolutely worth the value of money and time you save.

I did an experiment and in three days my household ran out of tissue, toothpaste, we needed to replace our toothbrushes because we were all sick, soap, dish washing liquid, deodorant, Lysol disinfectant spray, air freshener, other hygiene products. Retail value was $39.52 close to $40 we would have spent if I didn’t coupon.

But I didn’t have the inconvenience of running to the store because we ran out of tissue, and other supplies, I went in to our family stock and grabbed the items. All of the items with couponing I spent less than $3, most of which was taxes because I used coupons and rolled gift cards to pay. Couponing is absolutely worth the value of money you save!

Q: Where do you see the future of couponing going?

A: The future of couponing is going digital, and more stores are going to be increasing their digital coupon marketing to transition customers to add coupons to their devices for convenience and additional savings. In addition, the growth of extreme couponing is going to continue increasing as more resources become available for new couponers.
