Start by browsing Target’s wedding catalog for the latest fun items to add to your wedding registry. Click on the heart next to items you like, and it’ll be added to your registry. One of the advantages of creating a registry at Target is that you’re not limited to adding just silverware and flatware - you can add anything from vacuum cleaners to patio furniture to the latest electronics to your list.
Once you’ve registered for your wedding at Target, head to a local store near you, and pick up your free Welcome Kit, which includes bonus coupons for you to use. You can print out free inserts for your bridal shower invitations directly from Target. We suggest printing them out on nice cardstock for a great effect, and add them to the invitations you purchased from Target.
Stack Your 10% Off Wedding Completion Coupon With Your Target REDCard
In our Target Insider’s Guide, we noted that Target allows the stacking of coupons, so you can take advantage of extra savings. If you’re a frequent Target shopper, you need a Target REDCard so that you can save 5% off all your purchases. Stack those savings with the 10% wedding completion coupon you can use on items left over from your registry after your big day.
You can stack those savings further with any manufacturer’s coupons, with any available Target coupons, and with savings from Cartwheel, Target’s latest savings app. You can log in via Facebook on your browser, or download the app onto your Android or iOS device. You can save an additional 5-30% off highlighted items, by adding them to your “Cartwheel”. When you’re ready to make the purchase, either print out the Cartwheel list, or hold your device up for the cashier to scan the Cartwheel barcode for extra savings. (Oh, and did we mention, you get an extra $0.05 savings for every cloth bag you bring to hold your goods? Just remind the cashier to give you the discount. They don’t always remember.)
Return Your Registry Gift Items Up To 90 Days After The Big Day
You can return gift registry items to Target (even if you don’t have a receipt), for up to 90 days after your big day. If you don’t have a receipt, use your Gift Purchase Log as proof of your gift. You can make a limited number of exchanges or returns on your wedding registry.
