CVS is one of my favorite places to shop for deals. Believe it or not, the pharmacy stores like CVS can offer great deals to their customers and sometimes have even better deals than our regular big box stores. I have purchased many personal care products and household products as well as snacks and other things there.
You may think at first glance that it is more expensive than stores that have pretty much everything on your list, but if you know the ways to save at CVS, you’ll be surprised at what great deals they have. Here are some tips for you to save at CVS.
If you’re not already a member of this FREE rewards program, you should sign up. Not only do members get special prices on select items each week but they get Extra Care Bucks (or cash like coupons) to use on future transactions with CVS.
Be sure to check your ad before you go for those deals. Then you can see what coupons you can pair with their sales to maximize your savings at checkout.
Print it out and memorize it- become a pro on the terminology and know what you can and cannot do in their stores in regards to coupon use. Yes, you can use a manufacturer’s coupon with an ECB deal- that’s a great thing to know! You can find the printable policy HERE!
When you enter CVS they have a large red machine that can be used for price checking but can also be used for exclusive coupons. Scan your card and they’ll automatically print. I recommend scanning your card until it says (no more offers available) as sometimes they don’t all print at one time.
Another FREE program at CVS is their Beauty Club. You can join for free HERE. This club gives you coupons throughout the year like $5/$50 Beauty & Cosmetics items, plus offers for your birthday and other occasions throughout the year.
Know what you’re buying before you enter the store. You can find great deals and coupons, make your list, pair your coupons and have you Extra Care Card with you. Try to refrain from impulse purchases, too!
